Robert Buckwalter - Robert Buckwalter is a founding member of the Blue Coyote Theater Group and a graduate of the William Esper Studio.

Kyle Ancowitz - Kyle Ancowitz is a founding member of Blue Coyote Theater Group. After settling in New York City, he worked as Directing Resident at Playwrights Horizon participating in such productions as THE UNEASY CHAIR by Evan smith and BETTY'S SUMMER VACATION by Christopher Durang, assisting Nicholas Martin.
Directing credits with Blue Coyote include BRILLIANT TRACES; WANDA'S VISIT; THE AUTHOR'S VOICE; PSYCHOPATHIA SEXUALIS; KINGFISH; DIMLY PERCEIVED THREATS TO THE SYSTEM; A PHONE CALL FROM WASHINGTON STATE, LATE AT NIGHT and SATURDAYS WITH MARTIN. Kyle received a BA in Drama from Dartmouth College.
Brian Fuqua - Brian most recently appeared in the Blue Coyote’s acclaimed production of The Most Wonderful Love by Matthew Freeman. Other notable productions include Candy and Dorothy, Busted Jesus Comix, Saturday With Martin and A Bush Carol, or George Dubya and the X-Mas of Evil (all by David Johnston). Other credits include In Circles (DramaLogue Award – Ensemble) and Identical Twins From Baltimore (opposite Sheryl Lee Ralph) in Los Angeles, Des McAnuff’s Silent Edward at the La Jolla Playhouse, and the New York workshop production of BETTY Rules! (directed by Michael Greif). TV:The Best of the Chris Rock Show and Divorce Court (among others) and numerous commercials. Brian can also be seen in the soon-to-be-released motion picture Confessions.
Bruce Goldstone - Bruce creates the postcards for most of our shows. He also designed the Blue Coyote logo and the giant veggie posters for Busted Jesus Comix. He's the author of several kid's books including Great Estimations, The Beastly Feast and Ten Friends. He worked with Marcel Marceau on Bip in a Book and George Rodrigue on Why is Blue Dog Blue? He's spending a lot of time in Buenos Aires these days.
Carter Jackson - Carter's first professional gig out of the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre came in Blue Coyote's Nebraska , by Keith Reddin, directed by his college mate, Kyle Ancowitz. This was followed by a production directed by Alyse Rothman; a stint at the Theatre at Monmouth with Jonathon Silverstein; and both the Westport Playhouse and Broadway productions of Our Town (and the PBS/Showtime version for TV). Carter eventually found his way back into the Blue Coyote fold, bringing together BCTG and playwright David Johnston for Busted Jesus Comix! +3 More Plays! He played "Tap" in the 2003 Samuel French award-winning production of Leaving Tangier, by David Johnston with Blue Coyote. Carter wears his Repeat Offender badge proudly on his (bulging) chest.
David Johnston - David's works have been performed and read
at the Neighborhood Playhouse, Henry Street Settlement, Ensemble Studio Theatre, and Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theatre. He was named one of Time Out’s Playwrights

R. Jane Casserly - Jane is originally from Toronto, where she studied with The Second City. She has appeared in the Blue Coyote productions of Nebraska and Busted Jesus Comix. Jane has appeared in many original productions including My Mother's a Baby Boy, winner of the 2001 Oppenheimer Award for best new play. She was a founding member of Scary Monkey Productions, a sketch comedy group whose credits include Comic Relief 8, HBO's "Sketch Pad", and headlining at Caroline's on Broadway. Film credits include Molotov Samba and In Between, both of which screened at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival. Jane is a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Jonna McElrath - Jonna joined Blue Coyote Theater Group in 2004. She has performed in Blue Coyote's productions of LEAVING TANGIERS (Samuel French award winner), BUSTED JESUS COMIX, and A BUSH CAROL, and she designed costumes for Blue Coyote's production of THE GREAT ESCAPE. Other New York companies Jonna has performed with include Luminous Group, Sackett Theater Group (Primary Stages), Turnip Theater Co., Deep Ellum Ensemble (New York Fringe Festival, winner Best Ensemble), Todo con Nada, Expanded Arts, and Looking Glass Theater. Regionally she has worked with Arkansas Repertory Theater, Stage West, Addison Center Theater, White River Summer Theater, Open Stage, Stage West, Pegasus Theater, Theater Gemini, Dallas Children's Theater, Actors Theater of Dallas, and Texas Shakespeare Festival, among others. Jonna has also directed premieres of new works in New York, which have been produced at Raw Space, Turnip Theater, and Neighborhood Playhouse, and she is a member of Chuck Maryan's Playwrights/Directors Workshop. In her spare time, she writes poetry and is owned by a dog.
Laura Desmond - Laura Desmond is thrilled to be an official member of Blue Coyote Theater Group. Off-Off Broadway credits: As You Like It, Romeo and Juliet, Burning Habits, The Tragic and Horrible Life of the Singing Nun, Madame Fury, Hunchback Without a Bell, and The Ballad of Little Girl Jesus. Laura is also a member of Burning Boy Theater Company and has her BFA in Drama from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts via the Stella Adler Conservatory.

Tracey Gilbert - Tracey is thrilled to be a part of Blue Coyote Theatre Group. With the Coyotes she has been seen as Yetta and The Woman in The Standards of Decency Project, Betty in Paradise, the Defense Attorney in Busted Jesus Comix, and Laura Bush in A Bush Carol. Recently Tracey was seen as Annie in the NYMF production of The Tragic and Horrible Life of the Singing Nun for which she was awarded an Outstanding Actress citation from the Talkin’ Broadway 2006 Summer Theatre Festival Citations panel of judges. Off-Broadway: Mrs. Zero/Daisy in The Adding Machine at The Public (Henson International Festival of Puppet Theater). Off-off Broadway: favorite roles include La Butch Nikita/Hecuba Baboom in Burning Habits, Marie in More Than This, Candy in Unidentified Human Remains and the True Nature of Love, and Queen Marie in Exit the King. Regional: favorite roles include Juliet in Romeo and Juliet with Guerrilla Rep., Belisa in The Love of Don Perlimplin and Belisa in the Garden at Bailiwick Rep., and Annabelle in Wedding Band with Onstage Atlanta. Tracey is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati/College Conservatory of Music.
Vince Gatton - With BCTG, Vince has appeared in Matthew Freeman’s The Americans and in both critically-acclaimed productions of David Johnston’s Busted Jesus Comix. In April 2006, he received a Drama Desk nomination for his performance in Johnston’s Candy & Dorothy at Theater Three. He made his New York debut in the Off-Broadway comedy hit Party, which he also performed in the original Chicago and LA productions. Other recent stuff: The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told at the Theatre at St. Clements; Baptizing Adam at the Phil Bosakowski Theater; Henry IV parts 1 & 2, Henry VI parts 1 & 2, and Love's Labor's Lost with the Judith Shakespeare Company; The Diary of Anne Frank and Schoolouse Rock Live! at Stage One; and Jinx, which won the Riant Theatre’s One-Act Play competition and played again as part of Sonnet Rep’s Bard’s Back Yard series at the Blue Heron Arts Center. He has deservedly obscure TV, film, and voice-over credits, most of which feature him getting killed.
Michael Bell - Michael Bell has played a whole range of Christians for Blue Coyote, ranging from the sweet (
Paradise) to the sociopathic (
Busted Jesus Comix). Other Off-Off Broadway roles include gods (
Eumenides/Theater Faction), homicidal elves (
The Elf, the Bunny, and the Big Xmas Blowup/All You Can Eat Theater Company), tender young men (

Gary Shrader - Gary Shrader is a founding member of Blue Coyote Theater Group. For BCTG, he has performed in NEBRASKA, PSYCHOPATHIA SEXUALIS, KINGFISH, DIMLY PERCEIVED THREATS TO THE SYSTEM, and LEAVING TANGIER, and directed BUSTED JESUS COMIX, LEAVING TANGIER, and ROOTS IN WATER.
In collaboration with Eileen O'Connor, he developed and directed EILEEN O'CONNOR IS... CONTAGIOUS!, which was accepted for the 2001 Philadelphia Fringe Festival.
Stephen Speights - STEPHEN SPEIGHTS (Director) is a founding member of Blue Coyote Theater
Group and Producing Director for the Access Theater. As an actor, he has
worked with such notable artists as Anne Bogart (MARATHON DANCING), Tina
Landau (ORESTES, STONEWALL), Robert Woodruff (DAEDALUS IN THE BELLY OF THE
BEAST), and Chris Burns (Oppenheimer winner for MY MOTHER’S A BABY BOY).
