R. Jane Casserly
Jane is originally from Toronto, where she studied with The Second City. She has appeared in the Blue Coyote productions of Nebraska and Busted Jesus Comix. Jane has appeared in many original productions including My Mother's a Baby Boy, winner of the 2001 Oppenheimer Award for best new play. She was a founding member of Scary Monkey Productions, a sketch comedy group whose credits include Comic Relief 8, HBO's "Sketch Pad", and headlining at Caroline's on Broadway. Film credits include Molotov Samba and In Between, both of which screened at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival. Jane is a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Laura Desmond
Laura Desmond is thrilled to be an official member of Blue Coyote Theater Group. Productions with Blue Coyote include: Brilliant Traces, Wanda's Visit, Nebraska, Psychopathia Sexualis, and The Great Escape. Off-Off Broadway credits: As You Like It, Romeo and Juliet, Burning Habits, The Tragic and Horrible Life of the Singing Nun, Madame Fury, Hunchback Without a Bell, and The Ballad of Little Girl Jesus. Laura is also a member of Burning Boy Theater Company and has her BFA in Drama from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts via the Stella Adler Conservatory.

Brian Fuqua
Brian had the good fortune of first working with Blue Coyote Theater Group in Busted Jesus Comix + Three More Plays, appearing in Saturdays With Martin and the title piece. Soon after, his scenery chewing skills were put to the test as the villainous "Karl Rove" in A Bush Carol, or George Dubya and the X-Mas of Evil.   Other credits include the acclaimed productions of In Circles (DramaLogue Award - Ensemble) and Identical Twins From Baltimore (opposite Sheryl Lee Ralph) in Los Angeles, Des McAnuff's Silent Edward at the La Jolla Playhouse, and the workshop production of BETTY Rules! at the Westbeth (directed by Michael Greif).   Not-so-acclaimed appearances include stints as a Ghostbuster at Universal Studios and serenading patrons waiting to ride the Teacups at Tokyo Disneyland.   Frequently appearing in television commercials, Brian is currently annoying millions hawking mattresses, digital cable and the Stand-up MRI (yes, you can now stand up during your MRI).   One of his proudest achievements - next to being involved with Blue Coyote - is his featured performance in HBOs The Best of the Chris Rock Show, now available on DVD.

Sarah Ireland
Sarah's work with Blue Coyote includes Psychopathia Sexualis, Dimly Perceived Threats To The System and A Bush Carol   Off-Broadway:   Burning Blue .    Off-Off Broadway: Leap with Abingdon Theatre Company, New Yorick, New Yorick at the John Houseman, Just The Boys at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Darkfall at the American GlobeTheatre. Tours: "Juliet" in Romeo and Juliet with The National Theatre of Performing Arts, All It Takes with the Fulton Opera House. TV:   Jonny Zero, Sopranos, Cosby.   Sarah is also a member of Blue Roses Productions and Circle East and is a graduate of the Maggie Flanigan studio.

Tracey Gilbert
Tracey is thrilled to be a part of Blue Coyote Theatre Group.  She was last seen with the Coyotes as Barbara Bush in A Bush Carol and as the "Defense Attorney" in Busted Jesus Comix .  Off-Broadway:  "Mrs. Zero/Daisy" in The Adding Machine at The Public (Henson International Festival of Puppet Theater).  Off-off Broadway:  includes "Marie" in More Than This , "Candy" in Unidentified Human Remains and the True Nature of Love, "Queen Marie" in Exit the King, and "Lois" in Motherbird.  Regional:  "Juliet" in Romeo and Juliet with Guerrilla Theatre Co., "Salome" in Salome at the Live Theatre, "Lisette" in Tucaret the Financier at Chicago's Next Theatre, "Belisa" in The Love of Don Perlimplin and Belisa in the Garden at Bailiwick Rep., "Annabelle" in Wedding Band with Onstage Atlanta.  Tracey has been a member of Chicago City Limits national touring company and is currently a member of Red Light District Theatre Co., Harbor Theatre Co. and Circle East.  She is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati/College Conservatory of Music. 

Bruce Goldstone
In addition to designing the Blue Coyote logo, Bruce created the postcards for lots of our shows like Kingfish , Dimly Perceived Threats to the System, Busted Jesus Comix, A Bush Carol, The Great Escape and The Americans . He also designed some giant vegetable posters as well as a book jacket with flap copy that amused several of our actors in Busted Jesus Comix.  He's the author of A Gnome's Christmas and some kid's books including The Beastly Feast and Ten Friends.   He worked with Marcel Marceau on Bip in a Book and George Rodrigue on Why is Blue Dog Blue?

Carter Jackson
Carter's first professional gig out of the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre came in Blue Coyote's Nebraska , by Keith Reddin, directed by his college mate, Kyle Ancowitz.  This was followed by a production directed by Alyse Rothman; a stint at the Theatre at Monmouth with Jonathon Silverstein; and both the Westport Playhouse and Broadway productions of Our Town (and the PBS/Showtime version for TV).   Carter eventually found his way back into the Blue Coyote fold, bringing together BCTG and playwright David Johnston for Busted Jesus Comix! +3 More Plays!  He played "Tap" in the 2003 Samuel French award-winning production of Leaving Tangier, by David Johnston with Blue Coyote.  Carter wears his Repeat Offender badge proudly on his (bulging) chest.

David Johnston
David's works have been performed and read at the Neighborhood Playhouse, Henry Street Settlement, the Sage Theatre, Pace University, the Basic Theatre at Soho Rep, the Pantheon, Silver Moon and Ensemble Studio Theatre.   New York productions:   Busted Jesus Comix Plus Three More Plays! and A Bush Carol, or George Dubya and the Xmas of Evil, both with Blue Coyote Theatre Group, The Eumenides at American Theatre of Actors.   Los Angeles productions:  Cow, For Those Of Us Who Have Lived in France, Saturday with Martin, and Busted Jesus Comix, Moving Arts, Candy & Dorothy , at Rude Guerrilla.   Publications:   Leaving Tangier , (Samuel French, produced by Blue Coyote); New York Telephone Conversation and The Revolution Will Commence at Chase Manhattan, (Rosebud); Death is Cold Like Barbie and I Dream of Ezra Pound (Stage Press Weekly).   Playwriting awards include the Alan Minieri Memorial Award, Turnip Festival One-Act Play Competition, the B.W. Morris Playwright Residency at the University of Cincinnati, a 2002 Berrilla Kerr Foundation Grant and a 2003 grant from the Arch & Bruce Brown Foundation.   Education: B.A. from the College of William and Mary, the Professional Workshop at Circle in the Square.  Member: Actors Equity, Dramatists Guild, Charles Maryan's Playwrights/Directors Workshop and a proud Blue Coyote.  

Jonna McElrath
Jonna  joined Blue Coyote Theater Group in 2004.   She has performed in Blue Coyote's productions of LEAVING TANGIERS (Samuel French award winner), BUSTED JESUS COMIX, and A BUSH CAROL, and she designed costumes for Blue Coyote's production of THE GREAT ESCAPE.   Other New York companies Jonna has performed with include Luminous Group, Sackett Theater Group (Primary Stages), Turnip Theater Co., Deep Ellum Ensemble (New York Fringe Festival, winner Best Ensemble), Todo con Nada, Expanded Arts, and Looking Glass Theater.   Regionally she has worked with Arkansas Repertory Theater, Stage West, Addison Center Theater, White River Summer Theater, Open Stage, Stage West, Pegasus Theater, Theater Gemini, Dallas Children's Theater, Actors Theater of Dallas, and Texas Shakespeare Festival, among others.   Jonna has also directed premieres of   new works in New York, which have been produced at Raw Space, Turnip Theater, and Neighborhood Playhouse, and she is a member of Chuck Maryan's Playwrights/Directors Workshop.   In her spare time, she writes poetry and is owned by a dog.
